How do I use the Helium Tank?
1. Break the seal of the box. Please note that this seal obligates you to keep the tank.
2. Screw the fill valve (black) onto the thread of the tank.
3. Now turn the green tap all the way open.
4. Slide a balloon over the inflation valve (black) and press the valve firmly down or up. The balloon will fill with helium. Stop at the correct size of the balloon.
The helium tank can be used multiple times, you can reclose the tank by turning the green tap. After opening, helium is well sealed at room temperature for a year.
The helium tank can be disposed of as normal household waste, e.g. with plastic/metal.
Tips and facts:
- Do not overfill the balloons. This will keep the balloons looking good longer and you can fill more balloons. But only to the size stated on the balloon packaging.
- For example, if you fill a 35 cm balloon to 25 cm, it will only rise slightly or fall out of the sky sooner. This has everything to do with the weight of the balloon.
- Buy the correct size balloons, e.g. the latex 23cm to be able to fill the 50st. (23cm requires 0.007cbm helium 50x 0.007=0.35 CBM which represents the content of the tank)
- Fill the balloons as close to the party/event as possible. The floating time depends on the quality of the balloon, the ambient temperature and the size of the balloon. On average, a latex balloon floats for 5-7 hours without Hi Floatgel.
- Use Hi Floatgel to enjoy the latex balloon longer (1 to 2 days).
- Floating time: 5 to 7 hours for latex balloons / 1 week for foil balloons
- Please note that the latex or foil balloons are suitable for use with helium.
